Investimento da Saneago aumentou 37,8% em 2020, diz balanço

Em 2020, a Saneago investiu 37,8% a mais do que em 2019. Em números absolutos, o montante gasto na manutenção e ampliação da rede de água e esgoto foi R$ 259 milhões, ao passo que, em 2019, o investimento foi de R$ 188 milhões. É o que mostra o balanço anual da empresa, que foi divulgado na noite da última quinta-feira (11).
O documento diz também que o lucro da Saneago alcançou no ano passado patamar que é 22,8% maior do que o que foi obtido em 2019. No ano passado, o incremento de caixa da empresa foi da ordem de R$ 336 milhões, enquanto que, em 2019, foi de R$ 275 milhões.
A população atendida pela rede de água tratada continuou a crescer, a exemplo do que ocorreu em anos anteriores. Este universo de goianos era de 5,6 milhões em 2018; passou para 5,7 milhões em 2019 e chegou a 5,8 milhões em 2020. Em termos percentuais, a variação do ano retrasado para o passado foi de 1,59%.
