Capivaras são flagradas tomando banho em buracos cheios d’água em Porangatu
Segundo os moradores, os animais costumam ficar na Lagoa Grande, próximo ao setor do flagrante
Moradores do município de Porangatu flagraram uma situação curiosa neste sábado (13). Um bando de capivaras se juntou para se refrescar em alguns dos buracos cheios de água da chuva, às margens da Lagoa Grande, local de grande movimentação na região.
O grupo de capivaras já é conhecido. Os animais foram vistos outras vezes pelos populares caminhando pelas ruas. Apesar de serem animais com grandes dentes, as capivaras se alimentam apenas de vegetação.
A dona de casa, Luzilene Leite de Lima, brinca dizendo que os buracos foram deixados lá sem reparos para os animais. “Mal sabíamos…. Mas, os buracos são para as capivaras”, diz ela.
Quando não são motivo de brincadeira entre os moradores por conta dos animais, os buracos causam, na realidade, insatisfação. Luzilene diz que os buracos já causaram acidentes. “Já tem caso de pessoas que caíram e tiveram fratura em plena luz do dia. Está certo que o período é chuvoso mas não tem outra solução?”, indaga.
Prefeita pede cautela a motoristas
A prefeita de Poragantu, Vanuza Valadares (Podemos), publicou vídeo nas redes sociais em que pede para que os motoristas diminuam a velocidade ao transitarem nas ruas do município para que não caiam em buracos. Na gravação, ela ainda diz que já iniciou a operação tapa buracos e atribui o pavimento malfeito a gestões passadas.
“Quero pedir a vocês, que transitem de carro, moto, bicicleta pela nossa cidade, que evitem acidentes. É só diminuir a velocidade”, diz a prefeita. “Logo teremos nossa cidade recuperada, nosso asfalto recuperado”, continua. “Quero lembrar que ao longo dos anos os asfaltos feitos não foram de qualidade, por isso temos problemas todos os anos”, afirma.
Por meio da assessoria, a prefeitura de Porangatu afirmou que está resolvendo o problema, mas que o período chuvoso faz com que os buracos surjam novamente. Foi informado também que uma operação tapa buraco já está acontecendo nas principais avenidas da cidade e que o trabalho chegará nos bairros em breve.
Por fim, a prefeitura ressaltou que, no vídeo, a prefeita pediu para que as pessoas tenham mais cautela ao transitar e que a gestão já está em busca de soluções para que o problema seja resolvido de forma definitiva, assim que o período das chuvas passar.
